Sound quality is a 5, no question. The problem for me is that I wear an outer vest which I take off when I'm at the station, so my speaker/mic/wiring all goes under my work shirt. The connector is very bulky and pokes out of the back of my shirt. There's no way to clip it anywhere other than on the inside of my collar, which then makes the speaker wire WAY too long. I had to coil it up and tape the coil so there's some tension, otherwise the earpiece falls out of my ear. I wish there was a way to shorten it. If you wear an under vest and can clip the connector to the bottom of it you will be fine.
The sound is awesome through the headset but I can’t turn it off once I turn on the BTD or sending unit. The button on top of the BTD is also hard to find to press. When trying to turn it on it takes several presses to find the press button under rubber cover. I emailed the company about these issues and hope I can get them resolved as it is an awesome system besides those two issues. If these get resolved I would be more than happy to give 5 stars. And buy more for our church security team.
The noise cancelling kit does not work in a noisy environment at all.

The Earpiece is great and deserves a 5. The eartip provided with the earpiece is not a PCL product and does not fit the 90 degree elbow of the earpiece. The tube diameter of the elbow id more than twice the size of the eartip. I had to cut a portion of the eartip off so it would not slip off the elbow.

I use this for my school radio. I'm a School Safety Officer and communication is vital. I highly recommend the Hawk Lapel systems.
This is the 3rd earpiece (same model) I have bought. The first one held up for several years and was great. The wiring started to become exposed so I picked up another one. That one lasted about a year then the speaker blew out. I then ordered a third which lasted about two months and that speaker blew out (I don't listen to these at high volume). I contacted the manufacturer about the earpiece but they never responded. I have an issue with the product. As for the service from The earphone guy....that was excellent.

I recently bought RCH 101. Left shoulder strap. It is very useful. But an right shoulder would be more helpful. As to not cover up security crest on uniform
I have been using this product for about 4 years now. I have used two so far. I lost the first one in the brush not because it went bad. Second one is still going strong!!!!
I ordered three more because I want some in reserve just in case of mishaps. Great product. I highly recommend it. Very comfortable to wear all day.
These are very comfortable. You can leave them in all day without any discomfort.
To the point, no tube! Loud and nothing to clean. Just works.
